Sales Representatives: Los Angeles, Northern California, Arizona

 

Key responsibilities of this position are:

  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Includes meeting customer retention goals and resolving customer issues in a timely manner;
  • Solve accounts receivable and service problems.
  • Communicate to and work with the Sales Manager/General Manager to resolve unique customer issues.
  • Generate revenue through the sale of services to new and existing accounts. Increase existing account revenue. Meet or exceed sales all activity goals for both new sales and retention.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of technical equipment.
  • Acquire knowledge of potential customers, pricing, and competition.
  • Understand and execute division’s pricing and service strategies.
  • Identify and engage other sister company opportunities.
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales activity reports.
  • Acquire a fundamental understanding of appropriate local, state, and Federal regulations.


QUALIFICATION:

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of three (3) years Sales responsibility
  • Basic computer skills and general knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational, oral, written, and listening skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Associates degree in Business Administration.

Job Summary:

  • 2-10 years experience in the Environmental Industry.
  • 4 year college degree with a science major or equivalent industry experience.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of safe work practices involving chemicals, radiological and bioactive agents.
  • 40 hr HAZWOPER trained.
  • Must attend and maintain all required training necessary to perform duties.
  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of all regulations that pertain to the performance of their job duties (i.e. 29 CFR, 40 CFR, 49 CFR, Title 22 CCR…etc.)
  • Must have a working knowledge of Hazardous Waste disposal and treatment methods, TDS Outlets, workings of haz-waste generators.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and carry out work as directed by supervisor.
  • Must be able to work independently to perform and complete daily assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to independently identify, profile, and direct waste streams to disposal facilities in accordance with all regulations and facility acceptance criteria.
  • Meet sales quota assignments.
  • Keep sales managers informed of sales situations in each area through weekly sales summaries, monthly performance figures, forecasts, and competitor activity.
  • Represent company to local business communities.
  • Manage accounts and customers; face to face meetings as required.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors with whom we jointly offer services.
